HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO US!
Two year’s ago on Halloween, we opened our doors to a great, enthusiastic crowd who waited patiently for delicious, fresh, local beer.
Next Friday, October 31st, is our two-year Anniversary, which will no doubt be fun since it is on Halloween – and it’s a Friday night. We have some treats planned, and if you can make it in, please do!
At 4pm, we will tap our highly-anticipated fruit beer, the Pumpkin Ale.
We’ll hold drawings for great door prizes every half-hour starting at 3:30 for those who celebrate with us in costume. Other treats for adults will be $1 Stout Floats. And for the kids, and kids at heart, we’ll have spiced cupcakes by local confectioner A&K Cupcakes and of course, loads of candy up for grabs. We’ll have a Limerick contest going on Facebook starting Monday – the winners will read their limericks aloud to the crowd at 7pm. Grand champ will take great prizes.

ABOUT THE PUMPKIN ALE
Full-bodied, Complex, Spiced. “Pumpkin pie in a glass,” said a few people last year.
As the days get shorter, the temperature drops, and the snow begins to accumulate, nothing warms the Fairbanks soul better than a slice of creamy pumpkin pie, topped with a dollop of whip cream.
Especially if this delicious treat comes in beer form. Our Pumpkin Ale is an old Ale brewed with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves and allspice and 100% real pumpkin.
The rich aromas from the pumpkin and light spice additions complement the rich malty base of this deep orange colored beer. Upon first sip, an up-front spice is immediately supported by a creamy, complex sweetness. The spices give way to rich maltiness before the beer finishes cleanly, but full-bodied.
It’s a perfect beer for Fall, and a great celebration ale as we ease into the holidays.
